There will be about 1,300 marshals in the Azerbaijani Formula 1 Grand Prix, said Ayan Najaf-Agayeva, head of the public relations department of the Baku City Circuit Operation Company (BCC).
She noted about 50 of the marshals are foreigners: "They will be in the Athletes Village during the race due to better mobilization and maintaining a capsule environment."
The BCC official stressed that a total of 500 volunteers would be involved in the Azerbaijani Grand Prix: "Currently, the volunteers have started working. All their training is over, and they are fully ready for the competition."
Note that the Azerbaijani Grand Prix will be held on June 4-6.
