80 athletes to compete in "Dear Shusha" international cycling race

The number of cyclists who will participate in the "Dear Shusha" international cycling race organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Azerbaijan Bicycle Federation and the Shusha City State Reserve Department has been announced, Report informs, citing the Press Service of the Ministry.

According to the information, 80 athletes from 10 countries will compete in the two-day tournament.

The first stage will be held on July 9, near the "Narakand" park in the Pirallahi district. In this round, cyclists will compete in individual road bicycle racing at a distance of 21 km.

The second stage, which will take place on July 10, will start from Fuzuli Airport and continue to the front of the Karabakh hotel in Shusha. On the last day, the athletes will compete in team road bicycle racing at a distance of 71 km.

According to the events plan approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, the tournament will be organized within the "Shusha Year" framework. Before and after the race, there will be a press conference dedicated to the international competition.
