Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic has set a new record at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France, Report informs.
The seasoned athlete achieved this milestone by defeating Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarter-finals.
Djokovic secured a 2-0 victory (6-3, 7-6) in the match.
At 37 years and 73 days old, Djokovic is now the oldest tennis player in Olympic history to reach the semi-finals in an individual competition.
He will face Italian Lorenzo Musetti in the semi-finals today, with the match scheduled to start at 21:00 Baku time (GMT+4).
The Paris 2024 Olympics will conclude on August 11.
