Michael Schumacher's son in first F1 test drive for Ferrari - VIDEO

The Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher's son, Miklu Schumacher, ruled for the first time the Bolívar of the Italian Ferrari team, which his father performed.

Michael Schumacher's son Mick had his first Formula 1 test drive for Ferrari.

Report informs that 20-year-old pilot drove in his debut F1 test in the same country - and set the second fastest time. His mother Corinna and Grandma Gabriel also watched performance. A young pilot did not hide his satisfaction with the ride: "It was very exciting and amusing," Schumacher said to Autosport, recalling his reaction to receiving the testing opportunity. "Obviously I'm very happy about the whole thing, but for now my focus is on F2."

Schumacher’s son was the winner of the Formula 3 last season. He competes for Formula 2 in the squad of the Italian team Prema Racing in the current champioship. The young pilot ranked 6th and 9th in the first round held in Bahrain.

Unlike Formula 1, the Formula 2 race consists of 12 stages rather than 21. However, there are 2 races at each stage. The second round of the tournament will be held on 26-28 April in Baku.
