French citizens think that country not ready to host Olympics

Most French citizens think that the country is not ready for the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games to be held in Paris in 2024.

Report informs that 52% of the respondents who took part in the poll are against the prestigious competition taking place in France.

More than 1,000 people over the age of 18 took part in the survey. 55% of women believe that they are not able to host athletes and spectators from different countries. 50% of men are of the same opinion.

Most respondents aged 35–64 (56–57%) gave a negative answer to the question about organizing the Olympics. Most of the French aged 18–24 (54%) think so. On the contrary, more than half of the participants in the age range of 25–34 gave a positive opinion—51 percent.

Those who believe in the country the most are those over 65 years old. 55% of them believe that they are ready for the Olympics.
