Baku. 2 October. REPORT.AZ/ Former Minister of Taxes Fazil Mammadov has officially resigned from the post of the president of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AGF).
Report informs that Fazil Mammadov has recently signed his resignation letter.
His name has already been removed from the official website of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation. The former first vice - president Namig Aliyev was nominated for the post of the acting president. Today Aliyev has met with the wrestlers as the head of the federation and wished them success in the 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games and the World Championship.
Notably, Fazil Mammadov has been the president of Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation since 2007. He is also head of the Azerbaijan Field Hockey and Azerbaijan Cycling Sports Federations
