Denmark benefits from Azerbaijan's experience in organizing Formula 1

Baku. 3 May. REPORT.AZ/ Denmark intends to benefit from Azerbaijan's experience in organizing the Grand Prix of Formula 1.

Report informs citing the BT, Scandinavians who intend to prepare city track in Copenhagen, were in Baku on April 27-29, when Azerbaijan Grand Prix was held.

Journalist Helge Sander, who was accompanied by businessman Lars Seier Christensen, said on April 27 that they met with promoter Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Arif Rahimov. They also met with manager of Haas team, Günter Steiner and the Danish pilot Kevin Magnussen.

Hermann Tilke, the architect of the Baku City Circuit (BCC), said that he welcomed holding Formula 1 World Cup in the capital of Denmark. "Copenhagen will be a great place for Formula 1. The city is unique and the scheme will be beautiful with the background buildings. "

Nigar Arpadarai, head of Marketing and Communications Department of the Baku City Circuit Operations Committee, also confirmed : "Representatives from Denmark were interested in the experience of holding the Formula 1 race on the city-style track, and they came to learn more about our experience" .

Notably, there are 3 city tracks in the Formula 1 calendar today - Baku, Monte-Carlo and Singapore. World Championships is held in 21 countries. The last winner of Azerbaijan Grand Prix was pilot of Mercedes-Benz team, Louis Hamilton.
