“According to statistics, we have broken all records in ticket sales this year,” Turab Teymurov, the National Press Officer at Baky City Circuit, told Report.
According to Teymurov, the tickets for the upcoming Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix are sold faster than the previous races: “Tickets for most of the grandstands are already completely sold out. There are very few seats left.”
“Tickets for section B of the Absheron stand, as well as Philharmonia, Sahil, and Boulevard stands are fully sold out. There are very few tickets left for the Mugam stand. It seems that the tickets reserved for this stand will run out in the next few days,” he said.
Teymurov emphasized that the Formula 1 race has been held in Azerbaijan for the seventh year: “However, this is the first time that we have achieved such achievements. Most tickets for the competition in Baku were bought from the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.”
