Baku. 27 September. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani mixed judo team held a final bout in the 1/4 finals at the world championship underway in Baku.
Report informs that the rival was a Japanese team. The bout ended with the victory of Japan (4:2), a country known as "the origin of the sun". All female judokas including Ichinkhorloo Munkhtsedev (57kg), Irina Kindzeska (+70 kg) and Gunel Hasanli (70kg) lost their bouts.
In the men’s competitions Ushangi Kokauri won by ippon in additional time. Mammadali Mehdiyev (90 kg) also managed to prevail his opponent, while Rustam Orujov (75 kg) lost by ippon.

Azerbaijan’s mixed judo team has started the world championship in Baku with a victory.
Report informs that the local team managed to prevail Austria in the 1/8 finals. Only Gunel Hasanli (70 kg) from the staff ended her bout with a defeat. Another female judoka Ichinkhorloo Munkhtsedev was declared a winner as she had no rival, while Irina Kindzeska (+70 kg) won her bout.
Tural Safguliyev (90 kg) and Tornike Kokauri (+90 kg) won in the men’s competitions. Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) did not have to fight, since the Azerbaijani team had provided the victory before his bout- 4: 1.
Japan will be the rival in the 1/4 finals.
