Azerbaijani, German anti-doping agencies ink MoU

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed in Baku between the national anti-doping agencies of Azerbaijan and Germany, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA).

The memorandum was signed by the agency's Executive Director Tahmina Tagi-zada and the Chairman of the Executive Board of the German National Anti-Doping Agency, Lars Mortsiefer.

The purpose of the memorandum is to improve AMADA's activities in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards through experience exchange with the German National Anti-Doping Agency in the areas of results management, investigations, testing and other fields, conducting joint consultations, and creating working groups from employees of both organizations.

Based on this memorandum, the signing of bilateral agreements covering various areas is also planned.
