Azerbaijan to host Grand Prix figure skating tournament in 2025

In 2025, Azerbaijan will host the Grand Prix figure skating tournament for teenagers, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation.

The Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation announced that their application to the International Skating Union (ISU) was approved.

Approximately 150 athletes from over 20 countries are expected to participate in the competition, which will be held from September 24 to 27 next year. This event will mark the first time Azerbaijan hosts a figure skating Grand Prix.

Following the Grand Prix, the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation plans to apply for the world championship to be held in Azerbaijan.
