Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a decision about directing some of the funds paid by the participants for holding sports betting games in Azerbaijan to develop physical education and sports and socially important projects, Report informs.
According to the decision, 1% of the monthly turnover will be allocated for these purposes if the total turnover is less than 100 million manats ($58.7 million) during the calendar year. In the months when the turnover exceeds 100 million manats ($58.7 million), the allocated amount will make 1% of the monthly turnover below 100 million manats ($58.7 million) and 2.5% of the amount of turnover above 100 million manats ($58.7 million). With a monthly turnover of more than 100 million manats ($58.7 million), the allocated amount will make 2.5%.
