Baku. 23 October. REPORT.AZ/ Construction of some Olympic complexes in Azerbaijan has been frozen due to financial issues.
The Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov told Report.
According to him, the question is about the complexes, the project estimate of which has conducted, foundation was laid: "It is difficult to fully finance construction of such sports facilities and prepare them for opening. If the financial situation changes in 2018 and more opportunities will be created, we can start the construction".
A. Rahimov emphasized that the under-construction complexes will be launched: "Two complexes are ready for opening in Aghjabadi and Absheron. Opening ceremony planned in Lankaran and Yardimli in 2018. New complexes will be opened in parts".
