Azerbaijan's Ambassador to France Leyla Abdullayeva said she believes Paris-2024 will be the most successful Olympics for her country, Report informs.
The ambassador commented on the successful performances of Azerbaijani judoka Zelym Kotsoiev, who won a gold medal at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, and boxer Alfonso Dominguez, who secured a bronze medal:
“We experienced the joy of our second great victory. The Olympics continues. Such victories will keep coming. Today is a special day for us. In addition to judoka Zelym Kotsoiev winning a gold medal, boxer Alfonso Dominguez secured a bronze medal. We feel proud. Azerbaijanis living in France are always cheering our athletes to victory. Our athletes know that the entire Azerbaijani people stand behind them. We believe that Paris-2024 will be the most successful Olympics for us,” Abdullayeva said.
