A shocking incident of animal cruelty has come to light in Baku. A man born in 1994 was caught on camera subjecting a helpless cat to inhumane treatment. The disturbing video quickly went viral on social media, sparking outrage among animal lovers and concerned citizens alike.
According to Report, the police have identified the perpetrator and summoned him to the police station. Authorities have taken appropriate measures against the individual in accordance with the law.
Azerbaijan's Code of Administrative Offenses stipulates that cruel treatment of animals, including inflicting pain, suffering, torture, beating, or forcing them to fight, is punishable by a fine ranging from 500 to 800 manats (approximately $295 to $470).
