Over 77,000 people released under amnesty act in Azerbaijan

More than 77,000 have been released from prisons under seven amnesty acts adopted in Azerbaijan in 1995-2003, said Aynur Sabitova, head of the Department of Human Rights and Public Relations at the Ministry of Justice.

Report quotes her as saying over 3,100 inmates had been released on 32 clemency orders.
