Over 500 mines found in Azerbaijan's liberated territories last month

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) issued a monthly update about operations carried out by institutions (ANAMA, the Defense Ministry, the Emergency Situations Ministry, and the State Border Service) involved in demining activities in the liberated territories, Report informs.

Thus, 271 anti-tank mines, 278 anti-personnel mines, and 1,695 pieces of unexploded ordnance were detected and neutralized in June.

Also, 5,675.5 hectares of land were cleared of mines.
