Ministry of Emergency Situations clears 120 ha of landmines in liberated areas so far

120 hectares of the liberated areas have been cleared of mines. Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant General Etibar Mirzayev said while congratulating newly admitted cadets and officers who graduated from the academy.

According to him, the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations performed their duties properly during the Patriotic War: "Support stations and firefighting services operate in the liberated areas 24 hours daily against special risk situations. At the same time, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) provide services in clearing areas from mines. To date, 120 ha of land has been cleared of mines. Four robots have been purchased for demining and more territories will be cleared."
