Baku. 19 January. REPORT.AZ/ The Ministry of Internal Affairs has clarified the partial delegation of its powers to ASAN Service. Spokesman of the Ministry, police colonel Ehsan Davidov told Report that wrong interpretation of the president's decree of January 17, 2019, by some websites had completely confused the readers.
Zahidov said such comments under the headlines 'The Interior Ministry loses its powers' prove that the Interior Ministry will allegedly be not able to issue and change ID cards, regular passports and certificates of conviction, household registrations and change driving licenses: "These documents will be issued in the ASAN Service centers by the employees of the Interior Ministry. The urban, district and regional divisions of the ministry will issue the documents where there are no ASAN Service centers."
