Floods in South Africa leave at least 20 dead

At least 20 people have died in flooding following heavy rains in the east of South Africa, South African TV channel eNCA reported on April 12, citing data from the Ministry of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Report informs referring to TASS.

Two more people are considered missing. Municipal services provide assistance to the victims.

The flooding was caused by heavy rains that hit the provinces of KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape on April 11.
