One of the flight attendants, presumably killed in the AZAL plane crash, Hokuma Aliyeva, was born in Azerbaijna's Kalbajar district and lived in Ganja. The flight attendant's father, Jalil Aliyev, told Report that representatives of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) contacted him by phone and expressed condolences.
"My daughter Hokuma Aliyeva was a member of the crew of the crashed plane. She worked at AZAL since 2016. Representatives of Azerbaijan Airlines called me and expressed condolences. I don't know anything else," Jalil Aliyev said.
The woman's brother, Joshgun Aliyev, said that he contacted the hospital in Kazakhstan where the victims of the plane crash were taken to get accurate information about his sister's fate: "We sent a photo of my sister to check if she was among the injured. They said that some of the injured had severe burns, which made identification difficult, perhaps she was among them. But they didn't say anything specific. Kazakh doctors are providing all the injured with the necessary medical care."
Hokuma Aliyeva was born in 1991, married, has no children.
