The Azerbaijani Emergencies Ministry has appealed to the population over the expected deterioration of weather conditions, Report informs.
"The National Hydrometeorology Service warned about the expected deterioration of weather conditions and strong winds from the morning of January 8 to the morning of January 9 across the country, especially in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula. During strong winds, one should avoid light structures, temporary constructions, billboards, not to stop under trees and electric poles, and also observe fire safety rules, as strong winds make it difficult to extinguish a fire."
