Armenian earthquake sends ripples through Azerbaijan

An earthquake that originated in Armenia was felt across the border in Azerbaijan, registering up to 3 points on the Richter scale.

The Republican Center of Seismological Service at the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS) confirmed to Report that the tremors were most notably felt in the city of Ordubad, located in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Specifically, the quake's effects were detected 29 kilometers north of the Ordubad station.
