As many as 1,200 Azerbaijanis from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Mariupol regions of Ukraine have left for Moldova, Report informs from the Kyiv railway station.
Azerbaijanis are advised to contact the Azerbaijani Embassy in Moldova regarding any possible issues.
The next departure from Kyiv is expected on March 3.
A special train has been allocated for the citizens of Azerbaijan due to the grave situation in Ukraine. There are no tickets sold for the train; people line up to board the cars. Given the emergency situation, it is recommended to be at the station 1.5-2 hours before the train's departure and take the essential personal belongings.
According to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, despite the severe loss of equipment, the Russian army continues to attack Kyiv.
