White House aims to restrict Kaspersky software sales over Russian links

The White House is planning to limit the sale of Kaspersky Lab's software in the United States due to the company's alleged connections with Russia, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters, according to Report.

The Biden administration is set to restrict sales of Kaspersky antivirus software in the US starting from September 29 because of its ties to Russia, the source said.

In addition to the sales restrictions, the White House also intends to place Kaspersky Lab on a list of companies subject to trade limitations.
