Türkiye's leading online trading platform Hepsiburada may start working in Azerbaijan, Hepsiburada CEO Nilhan Onal Gokcetekin said.
Report informs via Turkish media that, according to Gokcetekin, investment in regional countries such as Azerbaijan and Israel has now begun in a test mode: "We have started providing services in different languages and in different currencies. We will make a serious contribution to Türkiye's exports in the coming days and years. We are working on cooperation and partnership with geographical regions with which we have cultural and historical ties. As a company, we strive to invest in innovative technologies that determine the direction of digitalization of trade."
Gokcetekin noted that the turnover of the Hepsiburada platform increased by 78% in the first quarter of this year, by 101% in the second quarter, and in the third quarter of the year, the annual growth rate is expected to reach 110%. In general, according to forecasts, the volume of the Turkish e-commerce market will grow by 60% and reach 1.2 trillion liras by the end of this year.
