Turkey fines Google $ 25.6 million

The Turkish authorities have decided to fine the American company Google $ 25.6 million for "abuse of its dominant position in the overall search market," Report says, citing Sabah.

According to experts, the company ran text ads with "vague and intense ad quality" that did not generate ad revenue for the e-commerce market. Thus, the search engine made it difficult to obtain other search results.

Earlier, on September 2, Google LLC announced to the Russian court that it had paid a fine of 1.5 million rubles, imposed on it for low-quality filtering in a search engine of content banned in Russia.
