A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Space Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (Azercosmos) of Azerbaijan and the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission of Pakistan (SUPARCO), Report informs, citing the ministry.
According to the information, the document envisages cooperation in various fields of space. This includes joint action on space science, technology and applications, capacity building, and exchange of experience.
Chairman of the Board of Azercosmos, Samaddin Asadov, said that the memorandum is vital in improving space-oriented services between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, further expanding the space program, including the development of spatial analysis.
Chairman of SUPARCO Amer Nadem emphasized that the memorandum will create broad opportunities for joint activities for the sake of the prosperous future of the countries.
