The 5th meeting of the space agencies of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), planned for 2026, could be held in Kazakhstan, OTS Secretary General, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, said at the 4th meeting of the space agencies of OTS countries in Baku, Report informs.
"According to the statutory documents and existing practice, meetings on various areas within the OTS framework are held annually in alphabetical order. However, at the previous meeting, the Azerbaijani side proposed to host the event, and the Kazakhstani side gave up its turn. I would like to express my gratitude to Kazakhstan for its cooperation and understanding. Taking into account the alphabetical order, the secretariat proposes to hold the fifth meeting in Kazakhstan in 2026. We would be grateful if the Kazakhstani side responds positively to this proposal," he noted.
