Samir Mammadov: Over 70 state institutions integrated into Digital Bridge System

To date, more than 70 state institutions and over 100 information systems in Azerbaijan have been integrated into the Digital Bridge system, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samir Mammadov said at the INMerge Innovation Summit, organized by PASHA Holding in Baku, Report informs.

Mammadov highlighted that the Digital Bridge project is a crucial component of the digital government initiative, enhancing information exchange between state institutions. “We have implemented improvements in this system to further accelerate digital transformation, and such projects will continue,” Mammadov stated.

Discussing digital document circulation, the deputy minister noted that this is another step towards achieving paperless management in Azerbaijan. “As the host of COP29, we prioritize sustainable and innovative practices. Thanks to the digital document circulation system, we save over 500,000 sheets of paper each month, equivalent to saving 2,000 trees annually. We also encourage the private sector to actively participate in digital document circulation,” he added.
