Russia, Turkey negotiating launch of Turkish satellites into orbit

Roscosmos, a State Space Corporation of Russia, is in talks with the government of Turkey on launching Turkish satellites into space using Russian rockets, Report mentions, referring to Sputnik.

Dmitry Loskutov, head of Glavcosmos, which is engaged in space activities, said that the talks are aimed at signing a cooperation agreement on the launch of commercial satellites.

In 2014-2015, Turkey's Turksat 4A communications satellite was launched by the Russian Proton-M rocket.

Earlier, the chairman of the Turkish Space Agency (TUA), Serdar Hüseyin Yıldırım, announced his intention to sign a space cooperation agreement with Russia in the near future.
