Postal Agency launched in Hadrut

The Postal Agency of the Customer Service Department of the Fuzuli Postal Branch has started operating in the Hadrut settlement of the Khojavend region, the press service of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies told Report.

The ministry implements relevant services, establishes communication infrastructure, and presents services in all areas liberated from occupation to restore the telecommunications infrastructure.

Postal services have been set up in demined areas. At present, Fuzuli and Jabrayil postal branches provide postal items addressed to military units in the liberated territories.

Azerpocht LLC under the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and High Technologies is working to open five modular post offices in Jabrayil, Gubadli, Zangilan, Fuzuli, and Hadrut. Proposals are being prepared to identify new routes for particular postal communication and services to meet the needs of all regions in the future.

As many as 295 post offices had been operating in the liberated territories before the occupation.
