Azerbaijan Information and Communication Technologies Industry Association has reached an agreement with the State Employment Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population on the preparation of a package of proposals for the development of ICT in Azerbaijan, Report informs.
At the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Service, Mustafa Abbasbeyli, said that the Service implements programs and projects to ensure the employment of unemployed and jobseekers, research the labor market, support employers, and increase the quality and availability of employment services. There are 24 functional directions of the institution in this direction.
Elvin Abbasov, Chairman of the Board of AICTIA, spoke about the achievements, challenges, and opportunities in the direction of ICT development.
The contributions of the joint activity of the Service with AICTIA and the prospects of future cooperation in this field were discussed at the meeting.
