Opera's share on computers in Azerbaijan down 35% in April

In April of this year, the market share of the Chrome browser on all platforms (computers, mobile devices, tablets) in Azerbaijan was 78.32%, which is 0.16 percentage points more than in March and 0.14 percentage points less in a year-on-year comparison, Report informs referring to the April report of the Statcounter agency.

The market share of Safari, which ranks second, was 10.76%, down 0.12 percentage points in a month and 0.93 percentage points in a year. Samsung Internet with a share of 3.7% ranks next, down 0.09% in a month and 1.27 percentage points compared to last year.

Opera is in fourth place with a share of 2.27% (down 0.12 percentage points in a month and 0.81 percentage points in a year).

The top five is rounded out by Edge, whose share was 1.79%, having increased by 0.11 percentage points over the month and by 0.44 percentage points over the year.

Chrome remains the leader in computer usage with a share of 79.67%, which is 0.24 percentage points higher than the previous month, but 0.12 percentage points lower year-on-year. Edge increased its share to 6.76%, having added 0.47 percentage points over the month and 1.53 percentage points over the year.

The Opera browser lost ground: its share decreased to 4.32%, which means a monthly drop of 0.74 percentage points and an annual drop of 2.35 percentage points. Thus, Opera's market share has decreased by 35% over the year.
