AzInTelecom LLC, under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, has today held a presentation of a new generation digital signature.
The digital signature called SIMA was developed as part of a public-private partnership with Svort Technologies and Sinam LLC, Report informs.
Through SIMA, it will be possible to receive e-government services and services and products of banks, non-bank credit organizations (NCOs), insurance companies, mobile operators, electronics and household appliances stores, TV and Internet providers.
"The new product will accelerate the digital transformation in Azerbaijan and will stimulate the use of online services," Rashad Bayramov, adviser to the minister, said.
Elkhan Azizov, Acting Chairman of the Board of AzInTelecom, said that SIMA will be launched and will be available to citizens shortly. According to him, it will be necessary to download a new generation digital signature that works through a mobile application to a mobile device and register once.
