Narmin Mirzayeva: Azerbaijan's experience in digital labor relations attracts attention from other countries

Azerbaijan's achievements in digitalizing labor relations are generating significant interest abroad, and the number of countries wanting to study this experience continues to grow, Deputy Head of the State Labor Inspection Narmin Mirzayeva said.

According to Report, speaking at the conference "Labor Relations, Labor Protection and Human Resources as One of the Main Directions of Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance," Mirzayev said that after new legislative norms came into force in August this year, labor relations in the country have almost completely transitioned to electronic format.

"Employment contracts between employees and employers are now concluded solely in an electronic way. When terminating contracts, all processes are also conducted through the electronic system, and the employee is notified in advance. Documents related to labor relations, including orders and certificates, are accessible through electronic accounts. Interaction between the State Labor Inspection and employers is also carried out through this system," she noted.

Mirzayeva emphasized that the integration of state agencies' databases has eliminated bureaucratic barriers, simplifying labor processes and job placement. For example, employers can obtain criminal record certificates through the unified electronic system.
