Microsoft's new multi-regional hub in Kazakhstan to cover Azerbaijan

Microsoft plans to open a multi-regional hub in Kazakhstan, which will cover the countries of Central Asia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Mongolia and Pakistan, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry said in a statement.

Report informs citing Sputnik-Kazakhstan that this issue was discussed during a bilateral meeting between Digital Development Minister Bagdat Musin and Microsoft CEO for Kazakhstan Sergey Leshchenko.

"The localization of Microsoft's activities will allow Kazakhstan to become a center of attraction of technologies and advanced solutions on a regional scale. Thus, being the center of Microsoft's technological development and innovation, the hub will be able to become a driver for the development of human capital and strengthening the national economy by stimulating the production and export of products from non-commodity technology industries," Musin noted.
