Georgian premier meets Rashad Nabiyev

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili met with Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev, the Georgian Bureau of Report informs with reference to the administration of the Georgian government.

The meeting discussed various areas of cooperation between the two countries, as well as the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, the Black Sea-Caspian transport route, the Persian Gulf-Black Sea corridor, and "green ports".

It was noted that coordinated cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan creates conditions for the process of attracting goods to the Europe-Asia transport corridor, which ultimately has a positive effect on the economies of both countries.

The meeting emphasized the importance of peace and stability for the development and long-term progress of the region.
