From touchscreens to telepathy: Musk's vision for communication

In a recent post on the social media platform X, American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk made a bold prediction about the future of communication.

Report informs that, according to Musk, people will no longer rely on phones for communication in the future; instead, they will use brain implants.

The discussion began when a parody account called "Not Elon Musk" posed a question to users: "Would you install a Neuralink interface in your brain that would allow you to control your new X phone with the power of thought?"

Musk himself responded to the post, stating that mobile devices will become obsolete in the future.

In the future, there will be no phones, only Neuralink, he commented.

Neuralink, founded by Musk in 2016, is a neurotechnology company developing implantable brain-machine interfaces. The company's goal is to create devices that can be implanted in the human brain, allowing people to communicate with computers and each other using only their thoughts.
