Customs officers from Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan exchange experience in digitalization

The exchange of experience in the digitalization of customs was the main topic of the online working meeting of employees of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, Report informs.

The meeting was made possible thanks to the Agreement between the customs authorities of the two countries on cooperation and mutual assistance. The sides discussed the practice of using electronic customs technologies in seaports, as well as the introduction of the Single Window mechanism in Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani customs officers shared information on the reforms conducted in the country's customs system, the introduction of information technologies, and electronic services. The projects "Green Corridor" and "Electronic Window" were presented.

In addition to customs representatives, representatives of ministries and departments involved in implementing the project "Single Window for Export-Import Operations" also took part in the meeting from the Turkmen side.
