BP Azerbaijan employees undergo a cyber-security test once a year, the company's vice president Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli said at the International Cyber Security Conference held in Baku, Report informs.
"Today, cyber threats are at the highest level among the threats to Azerbaijan's oil and gas infrastructure. If the pressure or temperature is increased through online intervention, this is enough to cause something to happen. Employees of the company undergo a cyber-security test once a year. This test affects the total score, bonus system, and other issues. One of the main issues that BP focuses on is phishing emails. Every year, the company receives 600 phishing emails from the outside. Also, phishing emails are sent to employees to check their vigilance within the company," he said.
