Azercosmos experiences 11% dip in export income

In January-June 2025, the Space Agency under the Digital Development and Transport Ministry of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) exported satellite telecommunication services worth $8.5 million, Report informs, citing the Export Review published by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

According to the center, this is 10.5% less compared to the same period last year.

During the first six months of 2025, approximately 100 companies from 41 countries imported satellite telecommunication services. Compared to a year ago, the number of countries decreased by 7 units. The main export destinations were the United Kingdom ($2.3 million), Luxembourg ($1.8 million), Nigeria ($436,000), Türkiye ($385,100), and Egypt ($357,900).

The share of Azercosmos export revenues in its total revenues decreased from 78% to 65%.

In June alone, Azercosmos exported satellite telecommunication services worth $1.5 million - 6.25% less year-on-year.
