Azerbaijani schoolchildren make second contact with International Space Station

In an inspiring event that took place today, Azerbaijani schoolchildren established radio contact with the International Space Station (ISS) for the second time.

According to Report, the initiative, spearheaded by the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan ("Azercosmos") and the Public Association "Society of Radio Amateurs of Azerbaijan," aimed to ignite a passion for space exploration among the young minds of the nation.

The event is held ahead of the World Space Week, which is set to take place in Baku in early October. During the contact, USA astronaut Suni Williams aboard the ISS answered questions of the eager students, providing them with valuable insights into life in space and the wonders of the cosmos.
