The bill on innovation activities has been finalized in coordination with state agencies and has already been submitted to the government, said Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev at the panel titled "Synergy that Turns Knowledge into Value" organized within the framework of the Education Development Forum, Report informs.
Aliyev stated that the coordination phase of the digital economy strategy with state agencies has also been completed, and the final version is expected to be submitted to the government soon.
Drawing attention to the increasing interest in technical engineering fields in Azerbaijan, the deputy minister noted that this growth trend is observed every year: "The employment rate of people is high. In addition, it has already been determined which sectors of the economy in the liberated territories will receive state support. There are relevant state programs for this. We see a need to deepen the methodology of knowledge transfer in existing higher education institutions in these areas."
