Baku. 14 February. REPORT.AZ/ The winner of the Global Startup Weekend Women (GSWW 2018) held in Baku, has become the project TalentPort.
Report informs, Nazanin Javadova and Sakina Naghizadeh’s team are going to represent Azerbaijan on the Big Final Day which is going to be held on 7th of March in Paris.
The competition held under the slogan “No talk, all action” has received more than 50 applications and 11 teams have participated in Baku final. During her speech at the opening ceremony of Baku edition Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan, Aurelia Bouchez expressed her gratitude to the local organizers and wished the winner productive journey to Paris.
GSWW is an international initiative led by Paris to make entrepreneurial projects more diverse and inclusive, and to highlight the impact of women in entrepreneurship.
TalentPort team has taken the first place and received the opportunity to pitch her startup idea in front of International Jury, the flight ticket to Paris & hotel stay form such global sponsors as RCI Bank & Services, AccorHotels, Air France, Wavestone, Air Liquide, La Tribune. From local sponsors they received an acceptance to the Sup.az acceleration program of Next Step innovation center. SuperNanny and Creyofu teams spotted second and third place respectively.
