Report informs, Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizade said at the Government Address event within the World Net Summit online conference.
E. Valizade noted that Azerbaijan wants to develop the field of innovation: "We are trying to attract investors and implement ideas in this area. We try to take advantage of any opportunity to improve the capabilities of our startups, such as attracting investors, since we have a clear idea in this area. That will contribute to the purposes of startups".
Notably, to support startups, in 2018, the Innovation Agency was established under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan based on the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies and the High-Tech Park LLC.
