Azerbaijan, Ukraine mull co-op prospects in innovation

Azerbaijan and Ukraine have discussed prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of e-government and innovation, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rahman Hummatov held a meeting with MPs of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, co-chairman of the Ukraine-Azerbaijan Friendship Group Volodymyr Kreidenko, members of the Friendship Group Anton Shvachko and Mykola Halushko, who are on a visit to Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The meeting participants discussed the current situation and prospects for the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in the field of transport infrastructure, cargo transportation along the Middle Corridor, e-government and innovation.

Hummatov informed the Ukrainian parliamentarians about the transport infrastructure projects being implemented in the liberated territories, including the work done on the Zangazur Corridor.

The meeting was also attended by the deputy of the Azerbaijani parliament, head of the working group of Azerbaijani-Ukrainian inter-parliamentary relations Rufat Guliyev.
