Azerbaijan and Türkiye can create a joint model for the application of artificial intelligence in the financial sector, Orkun Deniz, the head of the Credit Bureau of Türkiye, said at the First International Conference on Credit Reporting held in Baku, Report informs.
According to Deniz, the GPU investments needed for artificial intelligence in Azerbaijan can be implemented on the basis of a joint model: “There is no need for each company, bank, or financial institution to separately purchase GPUs for artificial intelligence. We are making this investment jointly and consider this model more effective for the country. This approach can also be applied in Azerbaijan.”
Deniz added that the Credit Bureau of Türkiye has already taken concrete steps towards a broad transformation in the field of artificial intelligence: "One of the first steps in this direction was the preparation of a strategic vision and the identification of 375 generative artificial intelligence use cases."
He believes that this process cannot be carried out solely with internal resources: "To this end, we cooperate with universities, academies, fintech companies, and innovation centers. If someone offers a good solution, we test it as a pilot project within the bureau. If it is successful, we offer that solution as a service to the market."
