A memorandum on "Cultural and Scientific Cooperation" was signed between the GOSB Technopark in Turkey and the Innovation Agency under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan, the Agency told Report.
According to the information, immediately after the liberation of Karabakh from enemy occupation, landscaping work was launched in the region under the President's instructions. Karabakh has always been, first of all, a center of culture, the homeland of poets, musicians, and artists. While writing the new history of Karabakh, turning it into a place of high technologies and innovations in the region is vital for our state's economy and future progress. For this purpose, they plan to open technology parks and innovation centers in Karabakh. The Innovation Agency has taken the first step in this direction by signing a memorandum with GOSB Technopark, located in one of the largest industrial regions of Turkey and supporting 130 technology companies.
The memorandum contains items reflecting the future joint activities of both sides. It is expected to regularly share acceleration programs, technology transfer programs, knowledge, and experience to increase technological knowledge and train young professionals in Azerbaijan. For this purpose, joint seminars, training, and conferences will be organized, and most importantly, a joint High Technology Park will be established. Conducting the latest "soft" and "hard" scientific research in the park, as well as the production of high-tech devices, will be intended. Regular campuses will create an environment for our youth and ICT professionals to communicate with each other, share experiences, and implement new ideas.
