The Information Communication Technologies Agency (ICTA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has started the implementation of the project to increase the knowledge and skills of the employees of the Agency, Report informs, citing ICTA.
As reported, the first online meeting was held between the parties in this regard. The meeting was attended by Nail Mardanov, head of ICTA's Board of Directors, Ravil Iskandarov, senior specialist for international cooperation, Oqtay Maharramov, director of legal and documents department, and Nail Ismayilov, head of the service market control department.
Mardanov informed the participants of the meeting about the activities of ICTA, the work done so far, and noted that the new project to be implemented next year will be useful for the functional activity of the institution.
The new project will be implemented in several stages. This includes improving the activity of the regulatory body, conducting market analysis, developing a methodology for assessing the level of competition in the market, designing solutions that can be applied to operators with significant market power, as well as conducting training to increase the knowledge and skills of ICTA employees.
The project will be implemented with the financial support of the EBRD.
